Festive Big Brother 1 was hosted by Dom, Amanda and Nic. It was the first season of the Festive series that was themed around Christmas. Applications went out looking for players on December 5th and closed on December 22nd. The Tumblr blog for the season is: festivebigbrother.tumblr.com

Teams: At the North Pole, everyone gets a little competitive trying to get Santa’s attention around the holidays, the houseguests were be split into two teams. Each week the teams were randomized and whoever wins the HOH competition will win safety for their whole team.

The North Pole Competition: Houseguests were given the choice to opt out of competing in the HOH Competition and have a shot at winning The North Pole Competition. This would give them the chance to change the course of the game. The winner of this competition would remain anonymous. Houseguests could only win the North Pole Competition once.

Carepackage: The VL would vote for which houseguest they wanted to receive the Carepackage. Each week, the carepackage would be different. Each houseguest could only win a carepackage once.

Santa's Secret Elf: Ashley originally entered the game as a catfish named "Dianna." Her goal was to make it to final 7, if she made it she would enter the game as herself and earn immunity for the week.
